We love to see people happily enjoy a good meal.

Arizona is a culinary stepchild. Texas, California, Tennessee, Carolina, Memphis all have a distinct style and taste that if you deviate too much, you are no longer in the club. This makes for people that have become experts, and this is a good thing. I love the purist they preserve the original touch stones. Arizona is not California, but the influence is here; we are not Texas, but Tex-Mex is alive and well here. New Mexico is a flavor of its own, but they too have influence in Arizona. In the middle of the American Southwest and central to the trade of cultures from our Latin cousins to the south. Arizona has also been home to many influxes of people from all over the country, bringing their culinary and cultural peculiarities.

We embraced the culinary stepchild moniker. Our brisket rub is inspired by Texas but is not “Texas” style, our rib rub is “St. Louis” inspired but not “St. Louis” Style. We offer Arizona barbecue and hot sauce flavors inspired by the Sonoran Desert. As culinary stepchildren we are unbound by region or style. We can take the things we like from every culture and make it our own. We are culinary Banditos and we are here to raid your cultures spice racks and use them in ways your Nana may disapprove of.

Arizona is a blended family, and that is how you describe our upbringings here. For Christina, her roots in Texas are deep and have had a profound impact. Just the same the time she has spent with Family in Northern New Mexico shaped her taste buds. Simple home meals made with love, fat little flour tortillas made by her grandma in Texas. For Cody, Arizona born and raised; a stepchild in a stepchild of states. Between home and the neighborhood, influences were varied Latin American, Irish American and German American made the culinary world at home diverse. Christina was blessed as a youth to travel to Japan and Cody was blessed to travel and live in Europe, our culinary horizons were broadened. Between environmental influences and family diversity, our palettes were being prepared and broadened.

God had plans. We found ourselves in college and God blessed us with a Church. By God's grace we were asked to help with preparing some food for a Vacation Bible school. We heated up dino nuggets and French fries, that was in 2008. From this God grew our love for feeding people even more our love for people coming together over great food.  Over the years the service has varied, for the majority we have prepared food on a weekly basis for 60 to 150 people. Through our service to the church, we have been blessed to cater over a dozen weddings from small intimate gatherings of under 40 to 300 plus person weddings. This gave us an education and a deep love for food service. We would love to serve you and your culinary needs.

We have two bible verses that explain our philosophy of service here at Latino Bandito.

Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

1st Corinthians 10:31 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”

We believe that when we are blessed to serve your family or your business, that blessing comes from God. We strive to serve your business and your family as though we were serving Jesus himself. We also strive to do all things to the glory of God, so when you are happy with our services God is glorified. We care deeply about every event, and we care about the products that we sell. Every batch is made with the same care knowing we serve God in all things we do. All glory to God; Christ is King.
